My usual Wednesday night game fell through so I thought I'd see if I could get some players together for a one-shot in a favorite game of mine. Trail of Cthulhu is a conversion of Call of Cthulhu into the GUMSHOE rules system, a rules-light framework that emphasizes role-playing and investigation. I'll be running this game using the Pulp rules variant, so you can expect a two-fisted adventure-mystery in the vein of The Mummy or Indiana Jones, where when all else fails, you punch the Elder God in the face. No experience is needed with the system, as it lends itself well to pick-up-and-play.
