Drawing a square/circle of an exact size

Right now you can only draw a square/circle of "free" size, that is to say you have to count the exact number of squares as you draw it, which is annoying, especially when the gridlines are hard to see due to the map background. You can automatically generate a square/circle of an exact size using auras, but this requires a token (which you need to place on every map) and the aura size will be larger than what you want as the token itself takes up a 5 ft square. So a 20 ft aura is really 20 ft + 5 ft. A tool that lets you automatically generate a square of 20 ft or whatever size would be EXTREMELY helpful. No more slowly drawing a large square to show the size of a 40 ft diameter spell while slowly counting how many squares you have drawn already.
Count faster.

I guess we should remove the aura thing then, after all you can count for that too... I dont know why there is such a large resistance for implementing a basic feature that is available in most similar tabletop RPG programs and which partial code already exists for in the form of auras...
Because it takes time away from other features that are better. Especially when you already have the capability to do this yourself. Make templates and give players control of them. Done.
+1 Drawing a map and having to count out 18 x 22 squares for your warehouse is really, really annoying.
Alternately, if there was text displayed somewhere as you drew (maybe next to your mouse) that said how big your shape is at any given moment, e.g. (10x4). I suggest this because I think it would be easier to implement but give the same utility. It might even be faster to use.
