Da-Ren

Hey Daniel, my wife wanted to start a sketch for you to take a look at for the Da-Ren and asked me to get some notes on the species from you if at all possible?
That would be fantastic!  I've updated the game handout on the Da-Ren.  I've combined the three images I use for them and posted a brief write-up.  However, if you wife is creative and comes up with a more interesting appearance for the Da-Ren that fits the description I'd love to take a look.  I'm not necessarily clued to the images I've been using they have simply been convenient.
Here is a quick sketch my wife drew up and wanted to get your feedback before starting on anything to detailed.

Defiantly going in the right direction.  Two comments that may help: this Da-Ren looks angry or possible evil, maybe draw it less like a reptile and more like a mammal?  Second, there should be a clear difference between the different types of arms.  One pair is much stronger while the other pair is thinner and used for fine manipulation.  One of the reason the humans of Tantry are able to get away with pushing around one ton citizens is that the Da-Ren do not look threatening (except for being encased in natural combat armor and weighing one ton). Also I encourage your wife to experiment with less detailed images of different forms.  She is clearly highly talented and she should release her creativity.
Here is another sketch she finished up last night. She said shed be doing a few to help her creativity flow. Ill post them here as she finishes them
Fantastic!  I have to admire her artistic talent.  I "might" be able to draw a straight line if I had a pencil and a ruler so I am always amazed at displays of real skill with graphite on paper.
