[LFG] New Player willing to learn

Good evening from Europe, GMT time (UK time)! First time posting here, I've never done tabletop before. I'm willing to join, learn and participate in any D&D 5E, Pathfinder or even the odd Shadowrun (maybe Anarchy, since it might be easier for me) or Pokémon Tabletop United 1.05 campaign. Though my desire, since I'm new, is to join a fresh new campaign. While I'm new to tabletop, I'd like to mention that, overall, I've been Roleplaying for nearly a decade in other mediums. I'm no stranger to character creation (background/personality) and narrative, with perhaps the exception being that tabletop is far more complex on the mechanical side of character creation. However, I am a little apprehensive with the idea of portraying a character through voice. I'm willing to overcome that nonetheless if people are patient and forgiving enough! If you have any questions or wish for me to join your campaign, feel free to answer this topic or to provide any other form of communication. Mind the timezone though. I've noticed that the majority here are Americans, which may prove to be difficult depending on how early the group or DM are/is willing to do earlier than usual in their own timezone.

Hello! Welcome to Roll20! I have a game planned using what's called the Genesys system, where you can make any character you want in whatever setting the group decides. I'm starting a campaign with a session zero in order to create characters and the setting between players and GM. I'll post the elevator pitch here:  " Blast hordes of reanimated skeletons with holy fire, explore new worlds in a steam-powered zeppelin, match wits with alien warlords, or invent your own entirely unique world. Unlimited adventure awaits you in a new roleplaying system limited only by your imagination!" "Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce Genesys, a new roleplaying game system compatible with any setting, and featuring the critically acclaimed Narrative Dice System." You don't need to buy the books and I can explain all the rules when when the time comes. :)
Sounds interesting! I never actually tried a "setting of settings" in the past. Just the odd cross overs between two and no more. Alright, I'm interested~ I have discord, in case you wish to talk to me more privately. I'll DM you.
I hope it's fine to bump this threat just in case I wasn't clear enough. I'm open for more suggestions, just in case if someone is looking for players, even if new at tabletop. After all, I would still prefer, above all, one of those four examples I've provided on the first post.
