API and Macro control of JukeBox

Hello hello, Looking around I've found this request in several different older forum posts (back during the times of the old Suggestions Forum). API control of the items in the JukeBox would be excellent. Specifically, the ability to do the following - play/pause jukebox items - turn looping on/off for jukebox items Additional features might include - cue "next tracks" for jukebox items (allowing the creation of playlists, perhaps) - adjust volume levels for jukebox items - add in new songs (likely via specific soundcloud URL) Adding in functionality for Macro control of Jukebox items (for non-Mentors) would be very useful as well. It would be excellent to be able to press the "Door Creaking" button and have the Macro run the sound of the creaking door (already loaded into your jukebox, most likely). I would be interested to know if there *is* a workaround for this (though probably best not to post in this thread), but from what I've heard manual control is the only way to control the JukeBox. Thanks, -Two's Company
there is a thread indexing all the sound related suggestions here... https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1245252/alternat... I seem to remember a couple of them touching on what you want to do....

Yes, please take a look where Roger posted, and see if any of those other suggestions match up. The most similar ones I think, are the 3 that regard "triggering" sounds. One thread asks for Triggering sounds Via API (+23 so far) which is a match with part of Two's Company's new suggestion. If your suggestion is the same, you can recover your vote from this by subtracting your +1 at the top, and add your comment and +1 on the other thread that's most similar. That would hide this thread, and jumpstarts a higher voted suggestion. However if your suggestion is different or a new spin, and you want to keep your own suggestion thread to be voted upon, that is also a valid idea.

Since there is a more popular thread for this same idea marked in development, I'm going to close this thread.
