Add a "party page", where most of the screen is filled by the players' videos.

This is similar to the suggestion posted  here , except that instead of it behaving like Google Hangouts where one video dominates, the layout is similar to that used by various RPG Youtube series, including roll20's own Youtube channel. The idea is that the party-page is meant to help make the players feel like they're sitting at the same table having a good time. Most of the screen real-estate is filled by the videos. The GM might opt to switch to this page whenever a tactical map is not necessary. The emphasis of this page is the people, not a map. As an example, roll20's youtube channel uses the following layout, which appears to be created by something outside of the roll20 app: Another example I like is that of "Dice, Camera, Action": Ideally such a feature would support the following. Of them, I think 1-3 are a minimal release, and the other items in the list could be given support later: The webcam views take up the majority of the screen real-estate. Of course, the bandwidth of the videos need not be increased. This is just a matter of changing the scale applied to the browser's DOM elements. The videos list the players' names and their character names. Or at the very least the characters' names. The layout adapts to screen size, so every player sees a clean party-view. The layout would adapt to the browser being resized. A GM-specified background image, or at the very least a title-image. Maybe the title image could even be changed during gameplay, as happens with "Dice Camera Action" I do like what "Dice Camera Action" does of having character ability scores listed by the videos. A good acceptance criteria is: Is the feature at a point where roll20 would use it for their own Youtube series, rather than using third party software? If the answer is "no", then that's a sign that it could use more features. (Such as maybe hiding some of the UI.) Thank you for considering.
