My name is Chris, I'm 28 and have a few years of experience playing pen and paper dungeons and dragons with my brothers. I'm experienced with dungeons and dragons 3.5 (only a little), 4e and now 5e. I'm looking for somewhat casual gaming group with no focus on any specific adventure elements. Murder hobo all the green skins is fun, but role playing repeatedly cutting into peoples dancing in order to elude some guards during a royal ball or something is also fun. I've been part of more murder hobo games then any actual role playing. mostly just enough role play to makes things funny, or silly. I'm looking for a group to play 5e with, Something no larger then 5 or 6 people. I prefer to play martial classes, probably because I'm just too lazy to track spells myself. (even when I dungeon mastered I still disliked spells) I'm cool with one shots, as well as running campaigns. I'm not afraid of character death, though do not like to actively do suicidal things just for some heroic excitement. Danger and risk are commonplace enough. Unless the character is roleplaying someone with the "hero complex", then it's totally fine. They often also die as "heroes" soooo.... My work schedule is irregular but it's early morning. So I'm always available for game night if it's after 2pm. Otherwise we could role play a reason I'm an hour or two late. If I am unable to make it for any reason I send a discord/text notification, though rarely do I have to cancel dnd night. I have voice chat but prefer to type out in character actions, to avoid any miscommunication as to what is and is not actually going on at any given time.
