DM (and 4 players) looking for 1 more. D&D 5E. Saturday nights - EST - 7:00PM

I'm an experienced DM who hosts a regular gaming group every other Saturday night - Eastern Standard time.  We are looking to add one more player to the party, for a total of 5.  We are a friendly bunch of people who welcome new and experienced players.  Roleplaying is encouraged, though we understand some people may be shy at first (and we're not overly serious about roleplaying either).  I plan on running a custom adventure, Dragon Heist, or Mines of Phandelvia to help introduce the new players to the group. If all goes well, we plan on continuing with other adventures.  I'm also always open to letting others DM if they so desire.  I only have two requirements - show up and have fun.  Simply put: we are looking for someone who, given he/she likes playing with us, will make it to 95% or more of our sessions.  We understand life comes up and people have to miss a session here and there (which we usually just postpone until everyone can be there) but we are looking for someone who wants to get into a consistent gaming group.  Feel free to respond in here or via private message, whichever you prefer, if this sounds interesting to you.

Hello there Ian If you are still looking for 1 more player then I'd like to join, haven't been able to play as much 5e as I would like simply because most games are run on weekdays at times that work would prevent me from playing, and since I don't have anything happening on Saturday's this would be nice to play in.

I just want to make sure the 5th player works well with our group, so here are two important qualities we are looking for: someone who is willing to interact with the other players and NPCs and someone who is reliable. I don’t expect you to always maintain character; I just want you to RP enough to help build the immersion and keep things entertaining for each other when not in combat/exploration.   As for my style of DMing, I believe in a balance of RP, combat, puzzles, and exploration.  I’m also open to secondary classes if they’re supported officially by Wizards of the Coast.  I’ve had about a dozen replies, mostly private messages, so I’ll let you know who I think is the best fit for our group after reading everyone’s responses.
