Inactive games, retired players.

Perhaps there should be a "flag" or mark tagged on games that have been inactive for a more than 2 weeks? As well, inactive/retired players could be "tagged."
possibly, but I'd make it either longer than 2 weeks (1 month at least) or settable by the gm with a default setting.

Hexonyx, Out of curiousity where would envision the flag should be? What would the purpose of the flag be? Who would the flag be indicating this to? - Gauss
Gauss: It seems like some sort of mark, flag, tag or column near the game in the game listings would be helpful to let folks know when a certain game has gone comatose... Maybe some games are only monthly but there were several games I'd applied to that never got response, it seems there isn't anyone still playing them.

Alright, just curious.  Disclaimer: the following is my opinion as a user and not as a member of the Mod Team. Yes, I could see LFG listings getting removed due to inactivity after a period of time and I could support that but there should be a way to prevent it as some games are 'constantly recruiting'.  For example, take my Star Fleet Battles game. It's intent is that it is more of a clearing house for people to hook up to play SFB rather than a specific game. Once players find each other and agree to a time they jump into one of the games I have open for that purpose.  I intend to do similar with Battletech and Munchkin as soon as I get those games set up on Roll20 (I am still finishing up getting my SFB setup done).  What all of these games have in common is that they are short term games rather than the kind of Long term game that LFG is normally appropriate for.  - Gauss
I was thinking more in terms of D&D and PF games, longer run games. I guess It wouldn't apply to shorter games. Star Fleet sounds like fun tho'. =]

Hexonyx, have you ever played SFB? It isnt that popular due to the rules being rather extensive.  - Gauss
Will have to check it out...

Also, it would be nice to have a "last activity on" indicator for ALL campaigns, so that if someone does join, get accepted, but it's really dead (had that happen to me) it's easier to tell w/o having to wait a week or so for someone to respond.
