I have only DMed once before but this is my first time on Roll 20. I am thinking Thursday nights 6pm-10ishpm EST I am looking for new players to try out a custom Revolutionary War era campaign. Probably starting before the shots went off. I have not yet prepared this campaign but I am going to prepare from now on. Posting this so I can hopefully get a good pool of characters with solid backstories as well as integrate them into the story. Include with your application: Backstory, Are you available thursday nights 6-10ishpm est, DnD and otherwise experience. How do you feel about RP? What do you expect from others in regards to RP? Include in your backstory if you feel its relevant how you feel about loyalists patriots etc. The back story potential is huge think if you are a native or a former slave or loyalist or patriot. Plenty to work with. I am not a revolution expert and things may totally be wrong and that is okay. Prefer if you are not a american revolution expert so I dont look bad ;) What to expect: It is going to be gritty, you may die if you are not careful... Perhaps even if you are. There will inevitably be some racism. You may be racist if you are a good RPer. Some days will have more RP some more action. Not sure the exact ratio yet. The only Race allowed is Human. Any class is allowed. Magic is unheard of getting caught using magic may get you hanged. Do not get to caught up on rules. What the DM says goes. I am open for custom Ideas and encourage them. Difficulty example below. EX: If you take a nat 20 crit you have to roll a D10 and apply the following effect. 1 Musket ball passes through cleanly 2 Musket ball passes through cleanly 3 Musket ball gets lodged internally 4 Musket ball hits calf, move at -10 speed 5 Musket ball hits arm, drop weapon and take twice as long to reload. 6 Musket ball hits hand, cant use this hand again until a successful surgery 7 Musket ball breaks ribs upon entry -5 to all rolls and move half speed 8 Musket ball nicks organ, need surgery to remove round and suture wound 9 Musket ball breaks bone and shards hit major artery, bleeding out 10 Critical condition must make death save automatically
