If I allow players access to my compendium, can they simply look up a monster and get all of its stats?
If I allow players access to my compendium, can they simply look up a monster and get all of its stats?
The compendium is shared in all it's glory. This does mean that your players can pull a creature's stats up in the compendium, however, since almost all game system information is available somewhere on the internet I personally don't worry about it. If my players are going to cheat, they're going to cheat no matter what I do. Besides, I enjoy throwing a few surprise changes onto my monsters so that they aren't the exact same.
