Cannot limit my sight to a token's

Detailed description of the problem So, I am the dm of this campaign. To avoid drawing the limits of chambers and caves in the map layer, I just use dynamic lighting lines and put tokens in the dynamic lighting layer which emit light that players cannot see. It works great and saves me a lot of time and effort. Normally, when I press Ctrl + L with a player's token selected, I see what the player sees. Since a couple of weeks ago, though, when I do that I see everything illuminated by the lights I put in the dynamic lighting layer, just limited (blocked) by lines in the dynamic lighting layer. That is, I see as if the tokens giving light in such layer had the "all players see light" box checked, although the box is not checked. Players see what they must. The problem happens only when I, as the dm, try to see what a given token sees. Also, when I do that, my sight is still limited by dynamic lighting lines; that is, I am NOT seeing as the dm. I see as if the token were able to see that light, although the player does not experience the same (fortunately): Players see just what they should. I waited for a couple of weeks, considering it might be just a temporary bug, but the problem persists. Description of setup Chrome Browser. No Browser Addons or Extensions. At least, no new ones for several months. Operating System: Windows 10. Supplemental  Information To show useful screenshots, i would need both mine and those provided by a player. If the problem is not solved by next session, I will ask my players to take screenshots, then I will upload theirs and mine.

This is a known bug, and one of the ones on the top of the list of things to fix that broke with the latest update. So here is a temporary tip that will allow you test vision quickly until Control-L is fixed. Create a  Dummy Account . Log into that account with an incognito browser window. (using an incognito window will help keep the two game log ins separate). In your GM window, assign control of the token in question to the dummy account player. In the incognito window, the view will immediately reflect the dummy account's vision permissions. In many ways, this is even better than Control-L, because the dummy account will also show you a view that does not show the GM Layer, and where fog of war is opaque, neither of which is necessarily true with Control-L. The dummy account will show you  exactly  what the player will see.
Oh, all right. Thank you very much. As you say, although a bit more cumbersome to implement, the result is in several ways better than Control-L. Thanks again!
Hello Algunillo,  As keithcurts stated, this is a known issue and we are working on a fix for it. If you could, please use the workaround that keithcurtis kindly suggested until we are able to provide a fix. Since this is a known issue, I will go ahead and close this thread. You can find updates in the  Animations and AFoW Offical Feedback Thread .
