Who here watches other people play tabletop?

I merely post this as a curiousity to see what people think about this. Personally I'v watched PAX events and their podcasts as well as a few hidden city ones. Loved them all :P
I will sometimes have someone's game running in the background while I'm working on something else. I enjoy listening to the dialogue and banter between the players. If it sounds like something particularly interesting is going on then I will pause what I'm doing and tab over to the game to watch for a bit.

I've been following the RollPlay series since last fall, and can only recommend it. Great shows all around, and very inspirational for my own DM-work.
I will put a streamed game or video on while I work on my own campaign. I also watch to get some ideas or see how other people DM and work to improve my own DM'ing.
I like RollPlay as well, but even more than that I like the ShootingTheShit D&D campaign on Youtube as well as Neal "koibu"s Dicing with Death series.
I recently came upon the Dicing with Death series that Lee mentioned and it is indeed quite a thrill to watch, makes me want to run/play in a 1 player campaign at some point.
Well, I suppose I can spectate things on what's going on. Maybe learn about strategy and whatnot.
Well, i often listen to some pen&paper and i watch Tabletop n youtube :) wich is fun, im just trying to summon courage enough to apply for a game here *bawk chicken* I find it fun to listen to tabletop though, especially while playin certain games.

I find it educational to see how a game is played especially if it is an introductory to the game system session. You get to sit and see how it works.
The only games I really enjoy watching is Wil Wheaton's Tabletop vlog on YouTube. It's been edited, and it's not all about pass the cheetos, and hitting on the chick at the bar. Not that everyone does that but delving into someone else's group is not my thing. Kind of like watching home movies from some neighbor guy that I barely know, as his kids play in the sand, and lose their kite in the offshore breeze. I don't often have people posting videos of any group I running, and, or am in for the same reason...to me nobody cares about the cool dragon thing I dreamed up. It comes off to me like the worst of Dorkness rising. Cool if you are in the group. Not nearly so if you don't know these people.

Ha, yes, I watch them. How has the thread gone this long with no mention of <a href="http://www.Twitch.tv" rel="nofollow">www.Twitch.tv</a> the best website to watch live tabletop and Roll20 games online? You can find some to watch on YouTube, but much more on Twitch under the "Dungeons & Dragons" tag (There may be tags for other games too but a lot of people just list their tabletop games under D&D), see link: <a href="http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Dungeons%20&%2" rel="nofollow">http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Dungeons%20&%2</a>...
I watched some a while ago to get an idea of how Roll20 worked in practice, but honestly I don't really enjoy them. Try imagining watching a game plays in person without participating, and take away a lot of the expressions and body language, not to mention the quiet observation of people who may be even nerdier than you, since mostly you see a static screen. I did cut up some footage I took from my earlier sessions and dropped them on YT with the intention of doing more, but the idea of digging through 40-50 hours of recordings for clipsmakes me a bit sleepy.

I love watching people play tabletop and will check out some of the suggestions I've found here. I also produce a show called Crafts and Conquest, where we play Dungeon World. Here's a recent episode: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJyLGDyryv4&list=PLvwrEqwe9aSUo9LBh9R0ABhq7ZlMxa8ae&index=12" rel="nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJyLGDyryv4&list=PLvwrEqwe9aSUo9LBh9R0ABhq7ZlMxa8ae&index=12</a> Edit: I am really digging that Dicing with Death series!

I like watching Cryaotic's Late Night Crew D&D streams. Watching him is what actually made me interested in trying tabletop myself. Late Night D&D
I haven't. I think this is mostly due to having a job and being a GM myself with a steady game schedule. I just can't make the time.
I love watching/listening to Actual Plays. I often learn new stuff to use in my own games and clarification to rules. We also post our semi-weekly DW hangout game online for others to watch (it's in Hebrew, otherwise I'd have provided a link).
I started watching Cryaotic's streams playing D&D and that got me really turned onto it. Unfortunately none of my friends are into that kind of thing, and i have 0 experience aside from watching various people's streams.
I'm curious if anyone here has actually run a cast before. I'm seriously considering casting my next game and was wondering if anyone had any advice or observations.

I watched a couple rounds of Virtous Tabletop (on DnD Digest) and thought it was really entertaining. Considering I have 0 luck finding my own group to play with, it's interesting to watch other people play.
I've also been listening to the Dungeons and Randomness podcats, and it's a good way of passing time while I'm in classes at school.
