Epic March to 20 Special Event! All month long we will be featuring level 20 one-shots where you can face off against some of the most legendary foes of the Forgotten Realms. Roll up a level 20 character and prepare to unleash your power against your enemies! Week 1 - Invasion from the Planet of Tarrasques - Invasion from the Planet of Tarrasques is a single-session, over-the-top, gonzo action adventure meant for four to six level 20 characters. What’s more fun than one tarrasque? How about multiple tarrasques stomping across Waterdeep? How about a whole planet full of tarrasques ready to rumble? If that sounds exciting, then Invasion from the Planet of Tarrasques is for you. Halaster Blackcloak died... but then he came back... with reinforcements... Week 2 - Descent to Ascension: A 20th-Level Adventure - You have served an evil deity for years. Doing so has allowed you to achieve abilities that make you seem god-like amongst the common folk. Attaining the level of power you now hold has not been easy. You have sacrificed much: lives, morals, contentment, and more. It has all been worth it. The time has come for you to leave this world and take your place among the pantheon of Faerûn. No longer will you be a god among men. Now, you will be a god among gods. Descent to Ascension is a one-shot adventure designed to give you a chance to try 20th-level play. It is not designed to be played as part of an ongoing campaign. The adventure takes place toward the end of the Sundering and is designed for a party of five 20th-level evil adventurers. Week 3 - To the End of Time - an Epic One-Shot (Part 1) - They're some of the greatest heroes the world has ever seen, but when they are plucked from their own time and tasked with saving the world - and possibly much more besides - one last time, will they be up to the challenge? This one-shot is designed to give players a taste of epic level adventuring without the need for two years of campaigning first. It can be completed in a single long session, or two or three shorter ones and should be relatively straightforward to run. Week 4 - To the End of Time - an Epic One-Shot (Part 2) - At the very moment of their death, these titanic heroes are plucked from their own time by a powerful angel and tasked with saving the world - and possibly much more besides - one last time. Over the course of their adventure the party will encounter all manner of powerful creatures far beyond the reach of regular adventurers, and face tasks that would leave even stout-hearted heroes dumbstruck. Capstone - Vault of the Dracolich - Deep in the forest of Cormanthor lies the hoard of the dracolich Dretchroyaster, the prize of which is a diamond staff rumored to unlock the secrets of an ancient elven kingdom. The sage Imani is seeking dozens of adventurers to launch an all-out assault on the undead dragon's lair. The dracolich is a powerful foe - too great for even several parties to conquer - so it's going to take all of the heroes' courage, cunning, and speed to survive the dracolich's deadly vault. While not epic level content, it's an epic undertaking none-the-less! This is a 24-man dungeon raid against an evil Dracolich on the verge of attaining godhood! How much is each seat? Each seat is $25. 2. What if I am $5 tier supporter on your Patreon? Then each ticket is only $20 for you! :) 3. Where can I become a Patreon supporter? We can't link it here, but feel free to ask in the listing! 4. Why are tickets so much? Unlike our normal games which last 3 hours, these special events are planned at a minimum of 5-7 hours. (And very likely will go longer!) And unlike the modules we run normally, these are built from scratch....including the maps, NPCs, tokens, and journal entries. But the end results are special, unique events that aren't run anywhere else! 5. Is (Insert DGG DM) running this? If you don't see a game listed with them, probably not. If you would like them to, give them a nudge! Maybe if they know there is interest, they will join the celebration 6. Why so many rules on character creation? Level 20 epic play is a large undertaking. The action economy a sheer depth of options at this level can make for some long encounters. Characters at this stage are already massively overpowered and complex even in a straight class build. We want to reduce the amount of complex builds that require rules lawyer-ing and book diving for answers as possible. We also want to eliminate any abilities that would create "instant win" scenarios that would ruin the challenge for other players. Finally, we added some things to help increase the difficulty of the encounter. Our hope, is that our big bads won't be pushovers. We want these conflicts to be epic ! This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $25 via PayPal. ($20 if you are a Patreon supporter.) Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
