I know that we have the basic tools to align an image to a grid. But the current process is very finicky and can be time consuming. Most common maps, like say Dyson ones, have very explicit grid lines. I would expect some image recognition tool would be capable of identifying those lines and providing a good estimate for the size of the map I've just dragged onto the screen. I can always adjust it afterward, but a good first step would be a time saver.
