Archived Pages

So I've heard people mentioning that archiving pages does not prevent the game from loading them. However some of this is hearsay, like what I just did by mentioning it, or old posts. Does anyone know if this is still the case? It really feels like something that has been accepted as fact that isn't, or is no longer, true.

Still fact, archiving pages is a way to keep things tidy. It will not reduce game loading times at all. Do you have reason to doubt it?
Just that I like to question common wisdom from time to time. In a lot of my other hobbies the common wisdom is anecdotal that has been passed on from person to person to the point where people don't even know the origin, and no one has ever tested it. Does having lots of pages increasing loading? I'm guessing yes.

I recently had cause to go over with the devs exactly what gets loaded. Pages and journals (including characters) are all loaded into browser memory at runtime, regardless of whether they are archived.
