Bad lag in journal

I've been having this problem since January, any time I try to open up a sheet from the journal, whether a character or an NPC, I get ridiculous lag. It takes 10 seconds or so to even open something, and the more I have open the worse it gets. It is ONLY with opening journal sheets that this lag happens.

Does it happen in every game, or just one? Do you have an unusually large number of characters in the game (say, 200+) or are they extraordinarily large characters (dozens of spells on a character, for example)? Journals and Character sheets are loaded into the browser memory when you load a game. Even if they are "archived". If you have a large number, and/or they are very complex, that can create quite a load on performance.
It's every game, and one of my current games is 5 level 3 characters and one is 8 level 9, so one has a lot of stuff and one is relatively empty.

These are the steps of our guide to  Solving Technical Issues . Going through these will help to pinpoint the issue, especially Step 4, if nothing else helps. Once you've gone through these, hopefully a Mod or Dev can take it from there. Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through  Step 4 .  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
Hello Gabrieal C., To see if we can rule out any potential issues, please follow the steps listed by keithcurtis. Thanks.
It seems to only be happening in Chrome, which is my main browser of choice. I've cleared the cache there and disabled all my addons for the site but it still lags like crazy opening character sheets.
Hi Gabriel, Please thoroughly work through  Step 4  as well and provide us with that information.  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you.
