Official 5E Sheet - Does it use the quantum roller?

Good evening! In my 5E game last night, we were getting some very, very strange rolling sequences using the official 5E sheet here on Roll20. I've been using this site for a few years now and haven't ever seen so many cases of advantage numbers rolling identically, people rolling the same sets of numbers if rolled quickly enough, etc as we had last night. Until this game, I hadn't really used the new 5E sheet extensively. Now, after reading about the Quantum Roller, I was going to chalk it up to coincidence unless I could replicate it again in the next game session but then realized that the official sheet doesn't have the Quantum icon guaranteeing that the quantum roll server was used. So I thought I should ask because we were flabbergasted by the rolls that were going on. Like multiple 20s in a roll, not just 2 or 3. Thanks for your time!

All rolls made on Roll20 use the Quantium Roller, sheets, macros or API * ,  makes no difference. We humans don't feel that true randomness is random. This comes up here every now and then when people perceive a 'streak' happens, and thinks it shouldn't be like that, but that's a natural outcome of true randomness. If you search the forums about the subject, you can find answers that adress the Quantium Roller itself, but I'll just bring up a few pointers related to human perseption of randomness that is related to this, that should be illuminating on a intuitive level. Quantium Roller status page  Randomness & Human perception of it: Apple made iTunes shuffle less random, so it would feel more random  (article -short) Randomness is Random -Numberphile (video 13min) Gambler's Fallacy (wikipedia) TL;DR: True randomness doesn't always feel random. EDIT: As Scott C.noted, if some API uses a random javascript function, it doesn't use Quantium Roller, but the backup system Roll20 have.

I'll make one minor addition to Andreas' post: Andreas J. said: All rolls made on Roll20 use the Quantium Roller, sheets, macros, API makes no difference. The API only uses the quantum roller if it sends the roll to chat to be resolved. If an API script uses javascript random number functions, it uses the system that is the back up for quantum roll; it's still "more" random than a standard random number generator, but is not on the same level as quantum roll. This doesn't really affect the answer to your question which Andreas nailed spot on. Just wanted to make sure to clarify that for future internet searchers.
If you hover the mouse pointer over a dice roll in the chat, you will see the Quantum Roll "atom" icon in the tooltip that pops up.
Great, thank you everyone. I can tell my players to not worry about it, then. I had read through the myriad of questions about the randomness here on the forums before posting and had seen the responses about "true randomness" but I hadn't seen anything addressing whether the sheets themselves used the Quantum Roller and since the Wiki had said you'd see the quantum icon, I figured I'd make sure. Thanks for your time.
