I've been running a game of Shadowrun using a Savage Worlds hack instead of the native rules and we just lost a runner due to scheduling problems, so we're looking for 1-3 people to add to the team. we play using discord for voice chat and roll20 for maps and dice and our schedules allow us to play most weeks on either monday or thursday evenings (usually around 7 PM PST). We're open to playing with people new to Savage Worlds or Shadowrun. Style-wise, our approach to Shadowrun is a little more old-fashioned, based more on 3rd edition than 4th or 5th and with a fairly big pink mohawk. Some highlights of past runs: Fought a giant drone semi-truck to steal a shipment of NERPS 2.0 in time for XX-Mas (the christmas in july). Smuggled large quantities of durian fruit and casu marzu cheese to bribe a boggle colony to wreck a construction site. Team street samurai has to fend off a anti-cybernetic serial killer with both of his cyberarms detached. Turned what could have been a simple astral recon job into a full-on smash and grab because they wanted an excuse to steal an experimental lightning gun. Successfully infiltrated a shadow auction of high-value magical artifacts and ended up fighting a young dragon with a heavily armed citymaster. So, that sort of group. If that sounds like fun we'd be happy to have you. Our current team consists of the following: Edge Maverick: A classic melee street samurai type: armblades, augmented strength, wired reflexes, etc. He's not smart and can be easily talked into doing something dumb and reckless. Smooth: A mage and the original party face, definitely the most level-headed and sane. Solves many problems by throwing lots of elementals at them and suffers from a condition which leaves his astral perception always on. Lilian: The replacement for a recently fallen player, she's a rich kid with lots and lots of toys and cyberware, bit of a jack of all trades with elements of street samurai, face, heavy weapons expert and face. System-wise we're using a home-brewed Shadowrun conversion of savage worlds, most of the original elements of Shadowrun are in there (with the exception of technomancers, but if you really want to play one I can whip up rules for them). At this time we're still basing the system on the older Savage Worlds Deluxe rules, not the newest Adventure Edition. I am working on a version for the adventure edition but we don't have any immediate plans to convert.
