Looking for Mecha pilots! Must be a teenager with emotional issues! (LFG; Adeptus Evangelion)

I'm looking for players for a Neon Genesis Evangelion game a friend and I are putting together. Giant robots, horrific monstrosities, roleplay, angst, impossible secrets, Gnostic name-drops. We're pretty excited. :x We're also thinking of consistent weekly or bi-weekly sessions. 9:00pm EST time every Saturday.

Copy of the LFG page, just to share links. (My qualifications are fair average - three full games under my belt, no big complaints). --- "So, the angels have returned... It's rather sudden." "It's the same as it was 15 years ago. That's the way of disasters - they come without warning." -Seele In the year 2000, our world changed. The Southern Pole evaporated in a sudden flash of light. The oceans were inundated. The continents shook, as tsunamis and storms rocked the Earth, as climate patterns flung widely out of balance. Cities disintegrated. Nations collapsed. People died by the hundreds of thousands. The world as we knew it was swept away. That was Second Impact. It claimed 2 billion lives in 4 months. The wars that inevitably followed such misery took another 30 million. It has been many years since then. Humanity has struggled to make sense of itself since then. Those few lucky nations to weather the storm came out ahead. Japan, China, the United States, Russia, England, Germany... They are slowly recovering, and the world as a whole is coming to terms with its own mortality. However, the trials of man are far from over. Mysterious beings called Angels, hinted in the Dead Sea Scrolls, will come on the days of reckoning, to destroy the last vestiges of a prideful race and reap them wholly and utterly. Man has one last hope: bio-mechanical cybernetic fighting machines, created by the global defense organization known as Nerv. The Evangelion. Only a select few may pilot them. Even fewer can use them to their fullest potential. Are you one of those few? Can you stand at the gates of Heaven to turn back the Angels? Or are you going to run away at the hour of need, and let the rest of humanity suffer? Dude, get in the robot. It's **Evangelion: The RPG.** ----------- Important Information ===== I am a fan of Evangelion. This is a given. However, the game is going to make departures from the Evangelion world to provide a satisfying experience. This is NOT a retread of the original plot of the TV series or the Rebuild movies. There may be familiar elements, but on the whole, you're not playing Shinji. You are playing a new character in a new city with new problems and new Angels. You still have to get in the robot. (Or not!) === The game will be focusing around Pilots and Evangelions, along with an Operations Director. ⋅⋅* The **Pilot** is a (typically) 14-18 year old character, piloting the giant robot. Outside of the giant robot, he or she utilizes their skills, attributes and talents to solve problems on the ground. ⋅⋅* The **Evangelion** is a giant robot. Through brute force, operational support and big stonking guns, you will get to drive this thing to fight the Angels and other sorts of monstrosities. ⋅⋅* The **Operations Director** is a field agent, in control of tanks, battleships, gunship battalions and non-Evangelion units. Operations Directors interface directly with the pilots and provide them with support, whether the pilots wish to have that support or not. **Character generation** is detailed within the first few pages of Adeptus Evangelion (link below). If you're familiar with the Dark Heresy system, then character generation shouldn't be an issue, barring assets v. drawbacks. If you are not familiar with the Dark Heresy system, see the GM on Skype for a detailed breakdown of the process. Or, join the **Character Generation Session** on March 29th, at 9:00pm on Skype. This game revolves around the pilots, principally. Your character is probably going to be a pilot, in control of a wholly unique mecha. Over the course of the game, as your character progresses, he or she will be tested emotionally and physically, dealing with trauma from the past and trauma from fighting, and dying to, the Angels. As a warning, **this game is roleplay heavy. There is going to be drama here, along with tragedy and horror (and some comedy). If you do not want a roleplay heavy game, do not apply.** --- **Technically speaking,** we're planning on using Skype for this game. Google hangouts is an alternative. Provide your Skype name to the GM if you plan to create a character. Voice & text is the ideal. Nothing big and flashy. The games will be running as 4 hour sessions, between 9pm EST and 1am EST. --- This game is running on: -(base) Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy. This is a percentile based system, similar in some respects to Dungeons and Dragons, but operating on a myriad of different rules. The GM will provide a copy of the book to those who wish to play. -(supplement) Adeptus Evangelion 2.5 This is the Evangelion focused supplement to Dark Heresy. Everything you need for this game can be found [here.] ( http://www.mediafire.com/download/ue47q05u115e97i/2.5+Release+Version.rar ) -(supplement to supplement) Charlie's Expanded Creation Kit (ChECK) This is a small supplement to Evangelion creation, adding new construction options and Berserk types. Located [here.] ( http://www.mediafire.com/download/15bumuribzbvdaa/Ad+Eva+ChECK.docx ) -(character sheets) There are two character sheets needed for Eva - your pilot's [sheet] ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtNOydicYcvfdHZRcDBXbkxYVDFfRktIeWJSX1VWYkE&usp=sharing ) and your Evangelion's (giant honking robot's) [sheet.] ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtNOydicYcvfdENzWDY5aTVfZkFEWWhQNjhKWDJMa1E&usp=sharing ) These are Google Documents, so be sure to make your own copy of the sheet before you attempt to edit. Both of these books are required. If you do not own Dark Hersey, the GM will provide a copy. Current Player Slots: -(GM) Charlie -(closed) Evan -(closed) Elite Empire -(closed) LCD -(closed) Steven -(closed) Theseventh -(closed) Currently being decided. **EDIT** Currently looking for one more pilot! Possibly a sixth pilot as well! --- **Contact Information** On Skype, the GM is: **Ebikiyo1138 or Ebikiyo.** If you see an icon of a cute witch, you found the right guy. He's usually available between 11am EST and 2am EST. On Google+, the GM is **Charlie Canady.** The same times apply there.

One of these days I will not be committed to so many games and I will have the time to be part of something this cool. I can't apply, but your ad is so well put together, I had to tell you what I saw. Good luck with this. /Clicks the LIKE button, if there was one. ..................... Bobon cursed. There was flottenberry jam on the after-throttle again. “Shantin!!”Bobon screamed, although he well knew his sister could hear him.She was in the gyro-cavity where the tripod legs of the mech met the reinforced walls of the magazine. It was where all the majority of issues occurred, especially when one of the hydraulic pistons seized and threatened to topple the giant machine. Remembering the intercom, Bobon pushed the button. He didn’t say anything this time.He didn’t have to.His sister knew what the call was for. “I was only reading the diagnostic logs,” his sister’s bright and slightly nasally voice chirped. “You have your own station.” “The frequency modulation in the visual boards are going bad, I can’t read it unless I have it as bright as a sun down here, and you promised you’d get that fixed.” The boy muttered from the pilot’s seat. His sister was good at turning things around.“That doesn’t explain why your… lunch… is all over the controls.I’m trying to…” An explosion from outside the enormous robot momentarily disrupted communications. “…keep us alive.” Shantin didn’t have a great deal of regard for battle. She was more inclined to disassemble something that didn’t require disassembling simply to see how it worked. It was a habit that was both infuriating and invaluable depending on the circumstances. In this particular instance, it was the former. Boton sighed a sigh that could only be generated with the aid of his sister.“Hold on!” He shouted. “Brother?”His sister’s voice asked innocently. “We’re going to jump!”He grabbed the sticky after-throttle and pulled it, bracing himself for the flattening sensation he was about to feel as the mech leapt away from danger. Nothing happened - except for a second explosion that removed nearly seventy percent of their aft shielding. “Shantin!!”Bobon screamed again. This time he did have the intercom button pressed. “I’ve almost got it fixed,” she said. “Fixed??Was it ever broken?” She didn’t answer. On the scanner several red dots appeared, each one indicating a projectile armed with a nuclear device. They were getting closer… “Shantin?”Her brother’s voice sweetened. “Almost.” Ten seconds… “Shantin?” “Almost…” Five seconds… “Shantin!?” Two seconds... "There," She reported obliviously. But he had was already pulling the jam-coated throttle…

Quite Interested . Reporting For Duty! I love AdEva And i WOuld Quite Enjoy Such a Campaign. I am Used to Borderline But i DO have Experience with 2.5
Never played AdEva or Dark Heresy before, but I like to think I'm a quick learner. I might need a little hand holding, at least until I get the gist of how things work in Dark Heresy. Sign me up!
I had zero idea someone wrote an RPG for Evangelion. Interesting, very, very interesting to hear of this existing (as a fan of the animé)
This sounds awesome! I haven't played Dark Heresy before, but yeah, count me as interested as well!
i'm interested, but first i would like to know if i can play without using voice, i can join the call but not talk
Contact me on Skype if you wish to join in the next few days. Our ranks are nearly full!
Hi, I just posted in the LFG page and sent a message on Skype, but I'm interested in that sixth spot if it's still available. Always up for a good AdEva game.
SHIT SON. I'm in as all hell.
If you'r going to do something like NGE as a basis. Might I suggest you also find a way to try Darker than black or Gurren lagann in similar OTT fashion? Just a suggestion
