Hey all, I'm finally expanding my nerdom past just video games(25+ years exp) and have finally found the opportunity to start learning D&D. The local group I play with does 2e, and that is what I've been reading up on and learning. Before I start reading up on changes in 3.5 and 4, I'd like to continue playing 2e. I already know most of the basics, although the group I'm in is fairly lax in rules and play, so there will be a need for some patience as I learn your own DM style. I'm a heavy gamer, and even though I didn't know it until I started paying attention recently, I have played(and loved) many D&D PC games from the 90s. Currently replaying BG, then moving to BG2 which never came to my home town! Looking for fun, preferably 2x a week. I live in Alaska, so -1 from PST. Please throw me an invite here, I will be checking my account often. Let me know your style, character generating rules, preferences, anything else you think I should know about your play style, such as by the book or changing it up. I look forward to rollin' with ya.
