I'm returning to RPGs after a 1-year break. My last DnD campaign was a whooper and I'm looking for something with less GM overhead. Enter FAE (Fate Accelerated Edition) with it's simple mechanics that let the roleplay shine. This is my take on a Men in Black / X-Files mission-based modern-era crime campaign. I'm undecided on whether magic and the supernatural are real in the setting and that's the theme I want to begin with. Did a fireball go off in the night club or was it a gas leak? But the owner hadn't paid his bill, the gas was shut off... that sort of thing. Game Info Time: Weekly, Thursday nights, 7pm-10pm EST. Audio: Discord. A microphone is required. Video: Roll20. A webcam is required. I find this to give a better experience. System: Fate Accelerated. The book is only 40 pages and there is an SRD with everything from the book in it. This is a simple, easy system that puts narrative play at the forefront. Character creation should take minutes.
