We're a group who have been playing D&D together for about 4 years and we've been spending most of this time in several campaign run in a homebrew world. After a hiatus we've decided to start a new campaign with fresh characters and are currently in need of a new player to join our ranks. The group is a very friendly and inviting one, we really enjoy playing the game with each other and will strive to make you feel welcome. We also don't mind taking in new players, but at this point all players in the group are veterans so you can expect that we at the very least kind of know what we’re doing. We will of course expect you to act and behave as a decent human being, and you can naturally expect the same from us. Historically we've played once a week in the evening during the weekend GMT+1 and we will probably not stray too far away from that schedule. We use Discord for our voice chat. The campaign will be high fantasy, set in a large magical city during a time which could best be described as an arcane industrial revolution. Expect working for shady organizations, discovering ancient wonders in the forgotten depths of the city and generally getting our hands dirty to reach the very top of society. You should also expect that the actions you take in the game will have long-term consequences and that the decisions we will have to make will rarely be morally black and white. Some more specifics about the rules for the campaign: • We start at level 1. • We use 27 point buy for stat allocation. • We allow all official books and UA. Usually homebrew is OK if you have a specific character concept in mind, but we tend to lean toward using the official rules if possible. If you are interested, please post a reply below with your name, age, roleplaying experience and what you expect from a roleplaying campaign. Edit: I will start going through the applications tomorrow (Wednesday).
I see you said Weekends but if it's on Sundays then I'm 100% free to join up, if choosen.  Name:  SpoonyMage or Jeremy Ways to Contact:  You can contact me via messages here, or Discord:  SpoonyMage#2913 Frequency:  Weekly game would be best. Type of Campaign:  I'm looking for D&D games (3.5e, 5e, Pathfinder). I like a mix of hack and slash and storytelling games. I also like long term games where the party can go up levels and I don't mind if it's a pre-made campaign/module or home-brew.  Types of Characters:  I tend to play heal bots in most of my games but I wouldn't mind branching out and trying something new. I make characters that revolve around a theme/concept. For example if I was to make a wizard I would think of a theme, like a fire mage and go with that over making what is "strongest". Currently I've had aspirations of playing a Druid that has no spellcasting and instead gets better/more wildshape or a arcane caster of some sort. Other Information:  I'm 35 and a senior in college with 1 year left to go. I work from home and have workout 3 times a week with a trainer while on my weight loss journey. So far I'm down 45 lbs but have a ways to go. I don't curse and I tend to play quit characters since I don't like talking over others and rather wait for when it's my turn to talk.
Name: KC Age: 30 Roleplay Exp: 16 or so years in total at TTRPGs, about a year and a half to 2 with 5E What I Hope For: When looking for a game I generally am hoping to find one where my decisions will matter, where if a player decides to rob a tavern that won't exactly be entirely overlooked (even if it may not have a consequence immediately). Where the history I create for my character will matter (at least to me and my character), and where not only my own character but all the other players can have a character arc over the course of the campaign. And where every player can work together to further the story we're all sitting down to tell together.
Name: Tanner Age: <20 roleplay experience: i learned most everything i know from critical role and have about a years experience on and off. what I hope for: I like games where my character's story can unfold and in which character's actions have an effect on the world around them. i like telling a story and being a part of it. I like working together with a team to solve problems and tell stories and have fun. I have several characters in mind i've been looking for a home to play them in. weekend might work for me if you decide on Sunday. Can't do Fri-or Sat at all. I don't mind battles but I like games where there's more RP. I don't like to step on other's toes when they are RPing and tend to stay in background, but depending on the character I can also take charge. thanks for the consideration.
Name: Christian Age: 22 Roleplay experience/DND Expereince: Ive only been in one campaign before, and it was very more so focused on the Roleplay aspect of things, however it was more of house rules instead of by the book. IE i was a Dragonborn Necromancer with Chill touch, but i was allowed to use it as like a third hand entirely instead of how its supposed to be used by the books. So i would have to get more confidence with certain things like that to make sure im not trying to improperly use stuff, but Im not one to argue the end-of-the-day ruling of the DM. Ive also been catching up quite a bit on Critical role, but i have loads of free time right now so i have been reading alot into getting back into DND and so im hoping this will be my first chance. THanks for the consideration!

Name: Aiden Age: 15 Roleplaying experience: I’ve been interested in d&d for about 2 years and in that time I’ve  read most of the Player’s handbook and some of Xanathar's guide. I wanted to play the game with my friends but none of them wanted to play. Over the 2 years I’ve made a couple of character sheets and I know how to play it. I would like to learn the game and make some friends who will play with me. Discord: AidenChampion#5352
Name: Per Location: Norway GMT+1  Age: 32 Experience: 17 years of various rpg's, including D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade, D&D 5e, d20 Modern, Alternity, Dresden files. Preferred character concepts: I usually prefer playing skill-oriented characters, such as bard and rogue, but I have no problem filling the role of heavy frontliner if that's what the group needs. I'm quite flexible in that regard. I've only played 5e for about 1 year now, so there are still certain parts of the system I haven't been able to explore yet. I enjoy campaigns where roleplaying is more important than "hack and slash". Schedule: I can play basically every day except thursday/wednesday (varies from week to week). Saturdays are usually reserved for playing live with a group of friends, but I'd be happy to play on sundays :)
Name: Eric Location: East Coast, USA Age: 45 Experience: Been playing D&D since I was 13 (preferring Skills & Powers). I have also played Vampire, Werewolf, CoC, Starcraft, GURPS, Star Wars, Bureau 13, Mutants and Masterminds, and the old Marvel table top. Schedule: Being five hours behind you, makes your evening games a breeze. Fridays and Saturdays are the best but Sundays can work as well. Preferred character concepts: I like to play races off type for role playing enjoyment and tend to compensate by riding the mechanics hard so as to not gimp the team. I also prefer long term campaigns that allow for character development and growth.  Discord:  chernevog#7373
Hey I was wondering if you were still looking for a player. my name is robin 21 form the Netherlands, (discord: Robinij#5760) and I would love to join your group. I can give a large description here but I think it is allot nicer to just talk in person (discord) to get to know each other. (played 5e for a few months) I like to Think of a character after I know the setting more so i'm flexible.
Heya! Y'all sound like a good group, and I'd definitely be interested in joining your campaign. My name is Brett, I'm 31 years old, and I have about five years of tabletop experience. I DM a game in real life, and then have a semi-regular one over discord/roll20 as well. I love the people I game with, and won't be parting ways with them any time soon, but I'd love to get into a game with a slightly more regular schedule. What I look for in a game is basically just a non-confrontational and fun space to play dnd in. I've played in more RP heavy games, lighter games with lots of combat and loot, and generally I'm down for both. As long as the group is good, the game will probably be fun. Anywho! Hopefully I'll hear from y'all soon. Look forward to gaming with ya :)
Hi Erik, My name is Alex, I am a 20-year-old college student from Ireland, I have 3 years of experience when I was first introduced to roleplaying. Since than I have been playing d&d on a weekly basis with two groups. I have been playing in a city-based campaign in a metropolis city for the past two years that two campaigns have been run in one of them lasted from level 1-18 the other level 1-9. We are currently taking a hiatus from that campaign for now. I have also completed the Curse of Strahd module and continued from that into a spelljammer campaign. I think by now I have gathered a lot of experience as a player, I used to enjoy combat more than RP but as I played d&d more my love of RP grew exponentially. From a roleplaying campaign, I expect there to be consequences for our actions I don't expect information to be handed freely or killing an NPC hastily to go over smoothly. I like it when the DM plays the long con when player's think they got away with something that it comes and bites them harshly later. A game that promotes smart thinking and careful movements than murder hobo and open threats, To know when you should watch your tongue when talking in certain area's or around certain npc's. I like for RP to be rewarded if the party's plan goes as they planned but punished if executed badly. Climbing to the top ranks of a city is not an easy affair and nor should it be, it should be risky but a rewarding affair if done properly. I love character development of the party and relationships that form between characters and npc allies they make along the way to see the bonds grow and power increase, to see how wrong moves can ruin it all.
