Human Variant Trait on Charactermancer

I remember one time in the past where I was able to choose the option of the Human Variant Trait for the Human race where it lets you increase two ability scores instead of all six but you get to choose one feat and one skill on the charactermancer while I was creating a character, but now when I am creating a Human, I don't see that option anywhere on the Charactermancer. I chose Human, and even subrace: Shou, and some fields pop up but none that offers the Human Variant Trait or the free Feat option. Could it be because on different campaigns the DM has this option "On" or "Off"? Or is there something that I am missing? In the campaign that I am in the DM said the Human Variant Trait option is OK but I can't find it anywhere on the charactermancer.

Does the DM of that campaign own and share the Players Handbook? The Charactermancer is limited to whatever compendiums are being shared. If the DM has not purchased a Compendium of any kind, the game and the Charactermancer are limited to the SRD as published by Wizards of the Coast. The SRD does not contain the human variant.

Ah, so that was the reason why I was able to use it for one campaign and not the other. And when you say "own and share a PHB", do you mean a PHB purchased on roll20, or a PHB physical copy or somewhere else? EDIT: Just answered my own question. Looked up the PHB in the Marketplace and my question was answered there. For those curious, the PHB purchased on Roll20 that you integrate into your roll20 campaign, it unlocks all the races and subraces, including the human variant option that is not available without the PHB purchase.
