LFP 5e seeking a tank for long running campaign--weekly, every Sunday at 4:00 pm EST.

LFP Seeking a tank for a long running 5-6 character campaign--level one to twenty--that will be a good balance of RP and combat. The player in this campaign must be able to stick to their character, playing by their personality AND flaws. The player must have some form of backstory. The games will be weekly, every Sunday at 4:00 pm EST. Tank applicants should introduce themselves below and the kind of tank they would like to play.
I would absolutely love to play the tank role. I could totally play a sword and board path of the zealot barbarian. I love barbarians a lot and love to roleplay too. I've been playing D&D for close to 25 years so I have a lot of experience with the game.
Hi! My name's Gen, I've only played DnD for 6 months but I've well and truly fallen down the rabbit hole. I'd love to play a tank, been toying with a couple concepts and backstories. - A high elf eldritch knight with Booming Blade. Part of a family of powerful elven wizards, but was never very good with magic much to their disappointment. She was talented with weapons, so she decided to hone the gifts she had been given. An elegant DEX based fighter who sees her craft as an art form. - A Good Aasimar Paladin, played straight, mostly. She used to be guided by a beautiful being that advised her in dreams, but that being suddenly disappeared, and the dreams stopped. On a quest to find out what happened, doing as much good as she can along the way, while deep down resenting the fact that she was abandoned. These are just a couple brief concepts, I'd be happy to add to them or change to something else entirely depending on what the setting is like.
Hello, My name is steven i normally go by either law or tyris. I'v been looking for a long-term game for 5E and although i normally lean towards the spell caster side for my characters i have tried some other classes i would love to have more practice in.   I am willing to play a couple different classes that would fit the role of tank, Champion fighter, berserker barbarian,a paladin etc. the backstories will differ depending on the world but once he finds a person/s hes willing  to protect he would go to the ends of the world to keep them safe For example, Ashen a dragonborn paladin of vengeance, betrayed by the patron dragon of his bloodline turned on the city that once saw him as their protector and ashen vow'd that the evil in the world would pay and set off into the world in order to bring down the evilest creature he knows, his father. Guan, Human fighter, once a prince left the throne in order to protect the citizens more instead of atop a throne. went out to quell a rebellion to only find out it was a set up and the village him and his men raided was housing civilians and his wife and child whos body was found afterwards, now seeks to find the reasoning behind this and possibly atone for the sins he commited unwillingly
Hi!  i've been playing D&D sense 1995 or so.  I'm a relaxed and experience player who enjoys a good story.  I posted on your tank recruitment thread.  I'd like to play a Dragonborn monk as a tank!

Hi' I've been playing DnD for about a total of 5 months now, primarily 5e. I enjoy a good focus on story/roleplay as well as combat thrown in throughout. While I haven't thought of a backstory just yet I would be interested in playing a Lizardfolk Barbarian to fill your tank role if the slot is still open.
Greetings, I go by moon. I was thinking of playing a mountain dwarf totem barbarian who was exiled from his clan because of an accident in a bar.
I Hi Will love to play D&D! I player D&D E5 for a year now.
