DM Functionality Questions

My DM for Saturday has presented me with the question I ask you today. He says that he can see ALL whispers in his campaign, I however am a DM of a campaign that occurs on Friday's and cannot for the life of me see anything my players whisper, is there a function I have to enable? Is there something I have done wrong? I feel this is an important thing, as I know my characters rp over whispers for private conversations, and I can't rightfully award them exp for things I can't see.

There is no setting to allow you to see player to player whisper. However, what is probably happening is that his players are whispering to characters and not players. Whispers to a character are sent to anyone that is assigned to that character sheet.

Hmmm okay I will see about changing a few things with the character journals then. I think I know what my other DM did.
