New player looking for a game and to make friends.

Hi, I've been really wanting to get into dnd but have no friends or communities near by that play.I know the basics after watching critical role since campaign 1. I also like to create characters but I'm not good at stories so being able to bring life to my characters during role play would be great. I've also been suffering from social anxiety for years now so I think playing dnd will help me get better at speaking to others. I'm free to play whenever because I don't have a job (thank you anxiety and depression). I would love a long campaign, just a big adventure with a great group of characters.I'm in america and go by est.

I'm actually setting up a game specifically for new players if you're interested. I've GMd players with anxiety and depression before and I think that DND was a great tool for them, so whether or not you join my game I think it's a great idea for you. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7358814/lfp-dnd-5e-dm-looking-to-give-new-players-their-first-campaign
