Campaign Copy incorrectly handles Emojis and turns them into "" (Windows 7 64 bit, Chrome Version 73.0.3683.103 Official Build 64-Bit)

So, a while ago I've begun using Emojis to spruce up certain elements of my campaign and to make them a bit more readable. It looks pretty good and helps me to quickly identify stuff on the fly from large lists! Since I have two campaigns on the same system (one is an alternate session for when someone is missing) I often try to "update" all the new things into the other campaign by copying the entire campaign. This however doesn't work so well with the emojis... Before Copy: After Copy: I know this is a strange request, but if at all possible, I would prefer for the copy functionality to take these symbols into account when copying! I'm rather afraid that this might have broken more than just names (some macros have symbols in their names as well) and might make running this copied campaign troublesome! Either way, thanks for your time!
Hello Sherbniz, Thank you for this information. I have passed it along to the devs. We hope to have more information soon.

I would strongly, strongly advise against using emojis in macro names. They do not behave like normal font characters, and are treated differently from platform to platform. It's pretty safe to change them in the macro bar at the bottom, since that doesn't affect the name of the referenced macro and is purely cosmetic. But be wary of using them in anything that is accessed programmatically in a formula.

It'll be a bit of a hassle to go through everything and change it though. :D Although, it's still a damn shame they're being removed from everything else! Adding them to Map Names realls helped me identify them easier.

I know; I love them. :) I've used them primarily for macro bar names, and only occasionally in other places, mostly as text within a roll template. But for something that the system needs to interpret? Just makes me nervous, for the reasons you go through above. Some times they just break. I do know that ones I can display in-game don't work in the forums, for instance.
Hello Sherbniz, At this time, there are no plans regarding functionality in copying emojis as texts. However, if this is something you would like to see, feel free to re-post this as a suggestion in our Suggestion & Ideas forum.  I will go ahead and close this thread.
