As mentioned in the title, this is a Interest Check for a game i wanted to run for quite a while. For those unfamiliar with Stars Without Number official modules, "The Engines of Babylon" provides rules for modern(as opposed to futuristic) space ships with rules for combat and travel, to simulate low TL3 planets space faring capabilities. Think Apollo program taken to it's limits. Or SpaceX, if you're a lack'o'creativity sort of a person. But, what if somebody where to use them as the basis of the whole campaign? "The year is 2143. After a catastrophic failure of Earth's ecosystem turns the planet almost inhospitable, humanity turns to run in the only direction it has available. Space.  Small, privately owned Mars colony within a couple of year turns into a big city, to a concern of the local populace. Flying cities on Venus suddenly have to deal with the problem that they never had before, overpopulation. Initially, rich elites on Moon were pleased with steady increase of their income as a the only port into the stars, but how long will they be able to hold on to their independence in lie of greater powers rising across the system. Obviously, one could ignore all of that and just go back to good ol' mother Earth, to play natural disaster bingo with the poor and the outcasts.I hear Denver is beautiful this time of year. In the most brutal, horrible and deadly sort of way." I want this to be a sort of Hard Sci Fi with horror elements sort of game, about a group of free agents operating within this world(s).
