Text tool not working and pushing the middle mouse button in to pan doesn't work.

When I click on the text tool and then left click somewhere to type, the text window only opens until I let go of the left mouse button. It no longer stays open unless I hold the left mouse button down. This makes it extremely difficult to type into that box. Also, the middle mouse button used to be how I would pan the screen around when drawing lines using the line tool for dynamic lighting. For the past ~2+ years now, it hasn't worked. Pushing the middle mouse button in and trying to move the mouse around no longer pans the camera. Both of these issues are in Chrome. However, Firefox has its own issue which is that when I click on the magnifying glass on the left side of the screen to change the zoom level, once I click on the drop down menu that appears, it instantly closes before I can click on any magnification level. Just wanted to chime in to say I have the exact same problem. I tried removing add ons and emptying cache to no avail, I hope it gets sorted out as it makes playing Fate a bit of a pain.

I also have the issue with the text tool. I left click to start writing but the box immediately disappears. This happens on Chrome and Firefox, across multiple games. If I right click with the text tool selected AFTER I've already left clicked once, the box stays there and I can type, but the right click also locks in the mouse scroll function, so my map will move around if I move the mouse. If I right click with the text tool selected but I haven't clicked left mouse at all, then I just get the normal right-click menu (e.g. edit, copy, delete, undo, to front blah blah)

I also have this exact same issue, I'm going to try Firefox without extensions and see what happens since I'm normally on Chrome with extensions.&nbsp; EDIT: Running an extension-less instance in Edge worked, the tool worked as it should. Everybody in my game is experiencing this same bug.

I can confirm that text tool works with Edge as well, but only if you double click - a single click flashes up the box which then disappears again. Chrome is still not working. Arghhhh. I like to write notes all over my maps so this is a pain. Please don't make me use Edge. Edge is not a supported browser for Roll20 - only Firefox and Chrome.

Hey so I am getting this same problem, but I have found something that appears to work. If I left click where I want the text, and then while holding left click down if I right click, it leaves the window open and I can type. This is on Chrome.

I am also having this problem and with the drawing tools. Definitely taking the shine off the experience of using your site.&nbsp; Come on guys this is affecting a lot of people and it has been going on for a while now. Will try Bryan Hs fix with the text tool.
