Allow "external" lighting of areas (maybe at "paint"?)

This would help with maps that are partly outside and inside where the inside is dark and it is day outside. So I would like to be able to "paint" global light onto the map. Example: In the Phandalin module, you go to Cragmaw Castle, the inside is dark, but the outside is not. There is no "variable global light", so I had to throw down light sources outside of the castle since setting the entire map as lit was a no-no.
... I just noticed the typo in the title... It should be 'maybe with "paint"?'

So you are looking for a light map. That would be interesting. You could start with a full light map (global illumination) and erase out the parts you do not want illuminated or erase the whole area and paint back in the light.
