[LFDM]-[5e] 5 Players for an ongoing weekend campaign.

Hello potential DMs! My group of friends and I have tried to play DnD many times before, but after a couple years we realized all of us prefer to play in the world rather than DM it. We are all somewhat experienced in DnD and enjoy roleplaying, creativity, and cooperation in our campaign. All we are looking for is a consistent weekly or bi-weekly campaign where we can roll some dice and have fun together, so DMs of all experience levels are welcome!  A boon for DM'ing this group is that we all have experience playing together so there's no awkward phase of meshing together or worry that any players will be uncooperative or toxic. We would be happy to run a module of your choosing, or to play in your homebrew campaign. The best days for the group would be on the weekend, sometime on Saturday or Sunday afternoon/early evening. Please, if you're looking to DM a friendly and easygoing group of players, comment below with the following: Name: Age: Experience with DnD 5e: DM Style (heavy roleplay, combat, puzzles etc.): Module or Campaign Brief (only a few sentences required, but feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like): Expectations for Your PCs:
Name: Baxter Age: 29 Experience with DnD 5e: I've been a player in 5e for several long term games. I've been with three of my groups for over a year. As a DM, I'd be a bit less experienced. I've done a few one shots for friends, but nothing long term. I am interested in DMing long term though.  DM Style (heavy roleplay, combat, puzzles etc.): I want the players to lead the story, so very much a fan of RP. I would like to do a module, and I feel like modules allow for a nice mix of RP and combat. I do have a few homebrew rules that I like to incorporate, and I'd be willing to share them once we got things started.  Module or Campaign Brief (only a few sentences required, but feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like): I'm open to suggestions on what module. I have some familiarity with Lost Mines, Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Storm Kings Thunder... I don't have access to all of them, but I could purchase one if there was one we wanted to attempt. Right now, I have Lost Mines, and if we wanted to do a trial run to see if I mesh well with your group, I could set that up without issue.  Expectations for Your PCs: I would like a group that works well together and that play to the character they create (character voices are a plus). I'd expect them to show up regularly and be ready to go. If life happens, cause it does, I'd like a heads up. Other than that, it boils down to the golden rules: be respectful and treat others like you'd want to be treated.
Name: Call me Talyn Age: Don't you know you never ask a lady her age? ;) (26) Experience with DnD 5e: I've been playing 5e periodically since it's release, though I have for a few months now been active a lot more DM Style (heavy roleplay, combat, puzzles etc.): I'm brand spanking new (3 one-shot modules and one 4hr campaign) so I'm still developing a style, though right now I've mostly had experience in combat. RP is on the table, but I may need to ease into it as I haven't even really had much RP intensive experience in any of my DnD plays. When I stop for player interaction, I will insist on hearing out each player's desires/opinions/ideas one by one. As a player one of the things that really grinds my gears is being talked over, so I wont allow it in my games. Even if we're not in combat, everyone should get a turn. Module or Campaign Brief (only a few sentences required, but feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like): I do currently own all released content on DnD Beyond but would love to get other books like Princes of the Apocalypse, Tales from the Yawning Portal, or Tyranny of Dragons if there's invested interest in playing them. If you have any other interests, I'd be happy to hear them out. I'm also willing to run a few one-shots to see if you're open to my DM style Expectations for Your PCs: To have fun and get along, take turns and cooperate, as well as to have patience with me as I practice and learn (suggestions for improvement and OoC assistance with anything I may be confused or stuck on is always welcome) Please PM me if you would like to discuss more.
