The way a roll20 session works (to my non-technical understanding) is that the current session is held in a cookie. If you refresh the window, it will load the last game that was booted up. That's why when someone recommends testing with a user and gm account simultaneously, or setting up a dummy user for the purposes of streaming a twitch session, that a private browsing window or even another browser be used. I don't think it's a bug so much as "the way it works", and probably has something to do with resource and memory management. My sympathies that it blindsided you and caused you to lose work. That sucks. :( If you need to do such a thing in the future, I'd suggest the methods above to keep them both open and separate. Edit: I'm not sure what could be done to preserve both games if somebody finds themselves in that situation but has not yet closed either game. Maybe somebody with more technical know-how will chime in.
