The crew, the members of the Brooklyn Brigade, saw the disintegrating orbit of the OPSEK space station. They saw what they thought was a man inside the station and began to expedite a rescue mission. They used their ship to come up under the crippled space station and lifted it out of its decaying orbit putting it into a stable ‘permanent’ orbit. The GAFC took considerable damage in the maneuver (down to 1 SPD, loss of some maneuvering ability, and disabled its warp drive) but is still space worthy. The Brooklyn Brigade docked with the station and Paladin and Shifter entered it. There they discovered a pitch black man-shaped being that identified itself as Rudolph Kundera, a Serbo-Croatian farmer. He says that he was killed by the Russian army and when he woke up he started killing them back. He also claimed that the Russian army had the New Guard (a Russian Super team) attack him and Cosmo (one of their Super heroes) threw him into the rocket and they launched him into space. He wanted to be returned to Earth so he could kill more Russians, he announced that he wanted to make everything BURN. Shifter told hem that they would not take him back to Earth if he were only going to kill people when he got there. Rudolph then attacked Shifter and Paladin. During the battle Rudolf released a blast of damage the covered over 80KM, proving that he was a living weapon of mass destruction. The GAFC also took more damage. They were able to render Rudolph unconscious. The Brooklyn Brigade turned Rudolph (aka The Despoiler) over to PRIMUS near Salt Flats Utah. Silver Avenger Simons, aid to the Golden Avenger, said that they would be in contact with Russia to learn more about what happened to Rudolph/Despoiler and decide what to do with him. With the issue of OPSEK (which never had a nuclear pile as a power source, it used photo-voltic solar panels instead) resolved, resolved the Brigade turned their attention to the problem of where to park the alien spaceship that Count Ubudgin gave them. Unable to reach Crimson Knight they make contact with his sister Cassandra Clemons. She gave them a place in ‘upstate New York’ to park the ship and then had them brought to her via helicopter. The first thing she told them was her brother, Crimson Knight, was gone for the foreseeable future. She wanted to know how her company financing the Brooklyn Brigade positively affected the balance sheet for Prometheus Medical Technologies. She offered to fund them forever if they gave her the space ship but they refused. They suggested that the Brigade be moved out of Brooklyn to prevent the PR clashes with The Minutemen, she refused (real estate in Brooklyn is a lot less expensive than real estate in Manhattan). They agreed on marketing Brooklyn Brigade lunch boxes, action figures, comic books, and so forth to finance the expense of operating a super hero team. Cassandra wanted to make the ‘base’ public but the Brigade didn’t think it was a good idea so that idea was scraped for the time being. Paladin also suggested that limited access to the ship would be something they could consider as long as it did not take the ship out of action. You never know when an emergency might call them off planet. The meeting ended with Bruce driving them back to the warehouse, Shifter wanted to drive the Porsche but he was told ‘No’ in no-uncertain terms. Cassandra told them that legal would deliver the updated contracts to them in a few days.
