We are a group of four, currently finishing off the main story hook in our campaign. We intend to continue the campaign on a different part of the continent, with the same characters after a time skip, in about a month. We are looking for two players to fill in the spots for players that are leaving, as such we would be starting the new campaign at level eight.  If you're interested please send me or post: Age Gender Time Zone Experience One example of a character you have played, make it as detailed as you would like Some of the world lore: Delmon, a continent ravished by it’s recent civil war. The previous government the Magocracy of Delmon fought against its own people. The government banned divine magic except certain divine casters that worshipped Mystra or Shar. Mandford, the capital of Delmon was a rich city renowned for its magic users. The non-casters would get help from the scholarly class, a smith would be able to cast mending to help him with his work, a bard could learn minor illusion to help his performances. The city however had a criminal society that was heavily based on magic. It wasn’t uncommon for poor people and dug up corpses from the graveyards to be used in magic rituals, the use of necromancy wasn’t completely illegal, but defiling the corpses and spirits of the dead was heavily punished. The government was run by a group of arcane casters, the figurehead was a sorcerer by the name of Lucien Wildfire. He would occasionally make speeches at his castle balcony. He was famous for make fools out of people by forcing them to do his bidding by the use of spells. He quickly turned heroic figures that talked against him into a joke, he made them fall to the ground laughing, only to start dancing and then turn into a chicken. All the nobles had a way of casting magic either by their scholarly education or their magical heritage, some of the nobles who couldn’t cast magic could make a deal with Lucien, giving some of his power to the non-casters to continue their noble lineage. This power came at a cost, as Lucien could instantaneously revoke the power that he gave to them, he occasionally used them to do tasks that would put shame to their name, but having a name is better than having none so most of them agreed, if you couldn’t cast magic your voice wasn’t important enough to be in the ruling class. The civil war was lead by Dominic Warren, a noble who didn’t had enough gold for a scholarly education or born with a magical heritage. Dominic was known for his bastard sons and had no true son, as he was never married. Dominic turned his back on Lucien when he forced Dominic to accept his power to keep his title. Dominic brought some of the heroic figures Lucien had imprisoned and used them to rally against Lucien. The war continued for at least a year, with Dominic coming out victorious when he encountered Lucien dead on his throne. With the killer unknown Dominic appointed himself as king and removed a lot of current nobles and replaced them with his bastard sons and previous divine casters who were suppressed in Lucien’s reign. Fifty years after the civil war with Dominic on the throne. The villagers start to expand into unknown regions. Delmon got more rich and more people started to inhabit the country. Nighthelm is one of them.
