[LFP] [P2P] [D&D 5e] Gloomwrought - The City of Midnight, a homebrew dark-fantasy campaign.

"I'd heard some describe the city as a living being. If it is so - it is a venerable creature. The streets were all narrow, lopsided, conveying the throngs of wide-eyed visitors and dour-faced citizens along their routines with a singular inefficiency. Veins and arteries that were constantly clogged snaked their way between leaning, looming, misshapen buildings that stuck out in all directions like so many fractured ribs. The Wall in particular, with all of its faces leering in the sickly green light of its lanterns, punctuated by the hanging cages of the condemned, made me consider the mind of a living Gloomwrought. I shudder to think what thoughts the city would give voice to, if any of the faces on the Wall should ever speak." ~A Year in the City of Midnight, a travelogue by Rindel Rindarin, bard of the Old New Olamn College Greetings! My name is Obreyko (or Ob, Obi, as you prefer) and I'm looking to recruit 4-6 players for a homebrew dark fantasy campaign, set in the greatest city in the Shadowfell. The link below will take you to the listing on Roll20, where you can see all the particulars, but I'd like to describe what I'm offering here in brief. Welcome to the City of Midnight What: -A campaign that is open-ended and player-driven, led by a DM with over 5 years of experience. -A campaign focused on roleplaying, where your decisions can and will change the course of the game. -A dark fantasy setting with a gothic style, populated by fully realized characters who have their own voice and goals in the city. When: The campaign is tentatively slated to run weekly on Fridays, from 12:00 PM EDT/ 17:00 BST (this is not set in stone, and can be re-scheduled to a time that fits everybody), running for 4-5 hours per session. The Price: - Session Zero, as well as the first weekly session of proper play will be free. This is intended to get players on-board, familiar in broad terms with the setting and the style of the game before you make any long-term commitments. - Otherwise, rates are $10/session Where: Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions either through private messages on Roll20, or Discord! -Ob#0419 on Discord
