[LFG][5e][GMT]Group of 3-4 players looking for their dream storyteller!

Hello there! We are a group of friends set in around the UK (GMT+0) and we are looking for an experienced game master and storyteller to make our D&D 5e dreams come true. We are a nice little blend of enthusiastic and engaged beginners and seasoned players of 10+ years of roleplay and D&D experience (from 1st to 5th edition). We're looking for a GM who can make the campaign world come to life. Someone who creates living, breathing NPCs that feel like real people and not like badly scripted bots from an MMO. A GM who loves to create an engaging world and story with things that may involve the player character but where things happen around the character and despite the characters. I hate to make comparisons but we're looking for a style between Matt Mercer and Colville. Somebody who can put some care into the player character's individual stories while not making the entire world revolve only around the player characters. We are people who like to explore a worlds history, details, the people in it and like to come up with unusual solutions. We like playing in games where decisions have consequences without the GM being out to get us. When it comes to campaign setting, we're relatively open. It can be the Forgotten Realms, Tal'Dorei, Ravnica, or something homebrew. As long as the setting makes sense and is consistent within itself. Basically, we're looking for a game we can immerse ourselves in and forget about real life for a few hours. Our little group consists of two guys and two girls, ages between 20 and 36. We use Discord (voice only) and we would prefer the game to happen either every Saturday or every Sunday. Not too early, not to late, UK time.
I would suggest, temper your expectations a bit.  Note that Matt Mercer is a professional voice actor who plays with other professional voice actors on his show.  Neither will you find many DMs who can match the versatile voice acting of professionals who've been doing it successfully for years nor will you find players who could do the same.  The games you see broadcast are not typical D&D games. Otherwise, good luck!
I am interested in your game. How long of a session are looking to play? Is this a pay to play game?  I will you that I am not interested in being compared to Matt Mercer, like Ais, said above, you are asking for a profession voice actor run a game for you. I pride myself in bringing a world to life in my way. I prefer to be involved in character creation to link the characters to the world, but to more not as a center point, though eventually the characters will become the center, I mean that is after all the point. Send me your discord, and we can talk, if you interested

I would like to point out that none of us is expecting the voice acting of Matt Mercer or a copy of Matt Mercer. I mentioned Mercer and Colville as an example of GM style rather than vocal capabilities. Mercer is a great storyteller that pays attention to detail and sometimes a minor thing happens that will be brought up again sessions and sessions later to reveal an interesting mystery. Colville on the other hand is a brilliant world forger. The world he runs feels like a real world, where you get the sense that most people go about their business, going to work, earning their living, making their way in life without being daring adventurers. Colville's world has a normal everyday component that makes it feel more deep and lived in and less like everything exists for the sole purpose of the PCs. I've personally had the luck to participate and run similar games and I have to admit that I'm bit spoiled in that regard, having 15+ years of experience playing in such games. But I'm currently a bit tired of GMing and I would like to sit back and relax and enjoy the game with my friends and find the right storyteller who is willing to accommodate our individual needs as well as make sure that the group as a whole (including the GM, of course) has fun. I personally love interacting with fleshed out NPCs and discover mysteries and I love villains who are feeling beings who had good reasons why they are doing the things they do. Not every villain can be redeemed but short of the NPC being a psychopath I would like to at least have the chance to try. One of my friends in the group is a young, female artist and she is willful and acts in the spur of the moment and she needs a GM who is not shutting everything down she ever tries just because it's unusual or potentially dangerous or is going on a path he/she didn't plan for. Another player in the group loves to explore the land, the cities. He is the other seasoned player with plenty of experience. Highly logical and he prefers things to be consistent and make sense. He also loves to explore the actual world itself. The land, the cities. Not caring so much about the NPCs. Hence why I gave Mercer and Colville as an example. I would have quoted GMs I used to play with in my past but since they are not famous it would be a moot reference. Mercer and Colville are known names and therefore I used them as easily recognizable examples of GMing styles. That's all.

I can give this a shot and we can see how it goes. Just hit me up on discord Wash#0526 and we can discuss further detail like time and what you are more specifically looking for.
Good luck then, since you didn't PM me, i suppose I am out of the running. Be well.
