Good day,
We are a group of two experienced players looking for an
experienced Game Master to run a game for us.
We have certain things we would like incorporated into the game and are
willing to pay for the opportunity. So
below is a list of what we are looking for:
We want it to use the FFG Genesys Rule system. This is due to the narrative style of play
that the system provides. We want an already established fantasy setting (i.e.
Middle-Earth, Faerun, Terrinoth, Westeros, etc.), as we would rather not have a
home-brew setting, so we can be more familiar with the world. We want an open world style campaign full of options where
the GM essentially manages the story, instead of telling a story with the
players in it. We will do a lot of RP, so be ready. We will definitely get into syndicate/political/faction
building at some point most likely, and we can get very analytical and
in-depth. We will use Discord for our comms The GM must have a pro account (this can be part of payment,
which we will discuss upon contact)
Please contact me via PM, and provide a bit of your GM history
in the message, so we know a bit more about your game experience
If you are still reading, then you are still interested,
lets break down a bit more. We really
like the Star Wars FFG system, and Genesys is a refinement and globalization of
those rules. It enables to GM to define
degrees of success, and still have mishaps instead of the “all or nothing”
scenarios other dice systems tend to evoke.
Our reasoning for an already established setting is due to
the fact that we prefer to know a bit about our setting, instead of having to
develop knowledge of it as we go along.
This is a game set in one of these universes, but that does not mean we
want to be the story book characters.
The Era and events are largely based on what the GM is comfortable
setting play in.
We are very motivated to begin. Once you contact us, we will reach out to talk payment, setting and other info and coordinate a session 0 to begin discussing everything game related between the players and GM. Thanks! John
