Hyperlanes was a kick starter that aimed to adapt the d&d 5e rules to more sci-fi settings. Play as your good old humans, cyborgs and robots or you can roll randomly/choose a species's culture and physiology. The 6 classes: Ambassador, Genius, Muscle, Outlaw, Pilot and Soldier have the frame work of the classes you know and love but have been adjusted to fit in space. Magic and spells are not in Hyperlanes, instead we got Gambits: maneuvers and stunts that can only be pulled off a number of times a day. And magic items have been replaced with Super Science: technology so advanced it's hard to come by. But at the end of the the day it's d&d 5e in space. Does any of what I wrote above interest people? or would you rather play a different sci-fi rpg?
