I'm sorry if the answer to this question is obvious. I'm a bit of a noob. Can anyone tell me what the purple die is for? As far as I can tell, it rolls the percentile dice three times, but I'm not sure what purpose that would serve. Thanks in advance.

It's for bonus & penalty dice! Consult the chart to see your result +1 and +2 = number of bonus dice, vice versa for penalty dice.

It's not perfect, technically it should only reroll the tens, but this is the best you can do without scripting. Our group just uses it as is. Close enough for occult work.
