When Webcam and Microphone keep turning on automatically

Hi, I just have a question. I don't know why but everytime I get into a new game, the cam and mic are on.  I need to deactivate it each time and it is very uncomfortable.  Seems like it is only me who has that kinda issue. Does anyone know how to change the setting? Not from each room but in general, so I don't have to deactivate it in each game. Thanks you.

I believe there isn't a global setting (so far anyway).  It is a setting that the game creator can set.  If the games you are in don't use the Roll20 voice and video, ask the game creators to go into their settings and turn them off.  Then they will be turned off for all players in that game.

As a workaround most browsers allow a per-site-setting to control if a site can use cam and mic. If you don't use it at all on R20, you could disable it in your browser.  But I agree, it is inconvenient to transmit until you have a chance to disable it.
