Forgotton Realms 3.5 semi homebrew. New Game

It seems like one player out of my existing game might be stopping, and with him his brother would likely follow. That would be the end of that campaign, which means in the next month or so i will be starting another game. Time is not set yet, but i have 1 for sure player and one maybe. No classes have rolled yet. Rules would be similar to core, i dont change much and i always respect a well reasoned argument. For this campaign though i want to add all the extra books that i have never used. Tome of Battle, Total Arcane, Ect ect. Errything on the table. The current game i am rnning is pretty much core only, and after getting used to it i feel ok trying to add the crazier things. It is still up in the air if this game will even begin. I am more making this post to see if anyone is interested and if so, how much. If possible i might even just run a brand new group of 4 people off of here. I had some sucess with people wanting to join the current game, but they always wanted non-core things, or things with level adjustment. I was not willing to let those in because it was my first campaign in a long time and the initial players did not have that chance. With this game its all on the table, be a Half-Vampire Warblade Multiclass Warlock if you want. I dont even know what those classes can do, i plan to learn as you level.
If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, from one gm to another, stay away from dragon magazine material. If you think that tome of battle was broken (which it isn't), you haven't seen anything yet.

Question One: What do you consider your typical RP to combat split? Question Two: Do you consider yourself a DM capable of good RP? Question Three: What would the starting level likely be? Also, as a general tip, I suggest you don't open up with letting everything be on the table, because that will just encourage min maxing. Rather, do a case by case approval basis and make it clear that you don't want people to break the game. As for Slifer's comment, I disagree about Dragon Magazines being especially broken, since they are about as broken as material from other books if you know where to look (staring right at you Savage Species). As a whole though, Dragon Magazine material seems to be very hit or miss in its usefulness. It is either very good, or very not good with a couple absolutely breakable exceptions. For the most part, when things are overpowered in Dragon Magazines, it is pretty obvious. Just pay attention. But as an example, I don't need Dragon Magazines to be running around with a character that has 30 strength level one. I don't need Dragon Magazines to be running around with a bard that grants all allies 8d6 fire damage on hit at level 3. So on and so fourth.
I would have interest in this depending on the day and time of the Sessions. I do agree with both Zero and Slifer as they both make good points on Moderation and some material of 3.5 being broken.
I wouldn't mind joining I love 3.5
I am interested also have many years exp with all levels Dnd. I would be interested in playing a Dwarven Cleric
Are you still looking for players?
Interested What Time and Day and Time zone are you thinking and also would like to be a wizard of some sorts and will you be allowing players to prestige class and such
Would be interested in a game. I'm a veteran player with about 10 years of experience with 3.5. Regarding "broken" game balance, Forgotten Realms is just as badly balanced as Core or Dragon, seeing how it's the setting that brought players the Initiate of Mystra feat, along with the Sarrukh and Manipulate Form, so saying any one piece of material is broken is really kind of a moot point, when Core itself provides three classes that can do basically everything necessary (Wizard, Cleric, Druid) to fulfill a party roles on their own and two classes (Fighter and Monk) that are obsolete at their intended roles (or, in the case of the Monk, has no real designated role in the first place),
Question One: What do you consider your typical RP to combat split? prolly close to 50/50, maybe a bit more combat than RP, sometimes its vice versa. Question Two: Do you consider yourself a DM capable of good RP? I like to think so, but i am probably a biased source. It also matters what i am having to RP. RPing a talking rock is harder than a human. Question Three: What would the starting level likely be? Lowest lvl in current campaign, -10% total xp off the top. Speaking of level, the current campaign just wiped. So now they are all lvl 1 and i am starting up the new campaign. It is taking place in Cormyr, and the story is still being fully formulated though i have several ideas for it. All the extra Complete/Tome ect that i have in my PDF folder is open, so Warblade, Warlock, whatever. I had many people try to join but not be able to because they wanted to do "complete" classes rather than core. since i told everyone that its all on the table from the second they rolled lvl 1 though, they are using some of PHB 2, ect. Looking for 1, maybe 2 people, that can meet up every Thurs & Fri from about 8pm EST to around Midnight EST on thurs, and maybe till 2am on fri as i oft forget to check this post you can email me at tsamuel@gmail.com or txt me at 419-270-3563 inside the united states we meet up the day after tom, current party is a Ranger/Paladin/Cleric. The cleric rolled as a barb and then suicided on purpose to reroll as a cleric because they did not have any heals.
rebumpin, got one reply and tried him, did not quite work out. Still looking for a 4th who is open to a semi-homebrew campaign. In the interest of full disclosure(since the recently tried player felt cheated by not knowing ahead of time) there are *MANY* small and a few large rule changes, all of it is to have the game make more logical sense/be less arbitrary. If you disagree with a rule change, i am completely fine with you trying to lawyer me to change it, or having a vote with the group and the group forcing me to change it. I try to run the group like a democracy for alot of it, since we all play by the same set of rules. off the top of my head; we use a crit table we do fumbles differently special rules for sneak attacks, easier to get in certain areas, weaker in others bonus spells per day for all casters, just cause i like magic and big fights with lots of it and a bunch of other shit. i can alert you to rule changes as you come across them, or you can ask questions to double check everything works as you imagine it does. So yeah, any class/race/combo is fine, catfolk, lizard, whatever. we play tonight round 9:30 if u want to roll one today
also, if something is that obviously broken and gamebreaking ill just get rid of it under the clause of semi-homebrew. Fun stuff like catfolk or whisper gnome or other shit can be picked and played, but i and the other players would ask that you do not go out of your way to min/max with the intention of breaking the game as much as possible and instead focus on a fun build that fits a char theme and has a backstory. we all meet up for fun and people are playing pretty much whatever they want with no care for group comp, if people die they just reroll and come back in as a different person. very rare is a raise dead spell.
bumping for a new 4th for this week
day, time and timezone?
I would sign up for this, but I have a campaign I run every other week on Friday.
