About Me: I've been DM'ing since the late 90s, and have DM'ed several games on Roll20, both for friends and members of the Roll20 community. I enjoy roleplaying as well as combat, but believe every campaign is only as good as its story line. My favorite edition is AD&D 2nd Edition, but that's primarily for nostalgia. My favorite setting is Ravenloft, followed closely by Dragonlance, then Greyhawk, Dark Sun, Forgotten Realms. I prefer my games to focus on roleplaying, realism and story line more than player stats and attributes. That is not to say I don't value the rules. I only take liberties with rules when specifically suggested in printed material. About the players I want: I want mature players who have respect for both me and the other players in my campaign. I'm in my 30's and do not wish to facilitate anyone's desire to min-max. I do not want players with loud, constantly open mics, excessive noise in the background, inattention, disrespect, or any other kind of issue that may interfere with gameplay. About the campaign: I've always enjoyed playing in sandbox campaigns. As a result of that, I love to DM the same style game. I have quite a few modules and campaigns read and prepared for this game, and am willing to follow the players' lead in their adventuring. This game will start at level 1 and progress indefinitely until the players retire, or the game naturally ends. The game will begin in Forgotten Realms. About the schedule: The days of the week will rotate. Play will be once per week, and usually in the evenings. Sessions will last from 2-4 hours.
