I'm on EST, work Tue-Sat from 10 AM - 6:30 PM roughly. There is slight variation, but nothing that can't be managed. I DM for my homebrew campaign on Monday and I'm already in a game on Sunday night. Really the only time I can make games is at night time, around 8PM EST. And unless its Saturday, I can't be up past midnight. Here are some of my character concepts: Goliath, Abjurer Wizard: A sort of Geomancer that wasn't as strong as the other Goliaths but could pull his own weight. Discovered magic when exploring a cave far from the tribe's camp. There were Primordial runes that glowed under his touch, and since he could understand that language, he began to learn magic. Most of his spells are and will be completely elemental based, or flavored to be so. Went with Abjuration because he's likely going to try frontlining as much as he can. Human, Battlemaster Fighter: Great Weapon master duelist, known to be exceptionally cunning and always up for a fight. When he was young, his village was often sacked by minor monsters like Goblins, Knolls, and Kobolds, so he quickly learned to carry a big stick with him whenever he was out doing field work for his parents. This stick weighed a lot and he swung it poorly at first, but over time with all of the practice and his eventual martial training, his two handed prowess was terrifying. He'll likely want to be the main bruiser/tank, but can let someone else take that role, as he can exert a tactical influence and rally his allies if need be. Scourge Aasimar, Oath of Conquest Paladin: A ruthless warrior on the battlefield, this paladin seeks to bring order to all lawless lands. Due to the constant dreams, visions, and supernatural influences of their vindictive Deva, the paladin is hellbent (ha) on establishing law, as they feel immense sorrow and pity for those who aren't being governed. On the flip side, those who abuse their power and the law itself (nobles, guards, etc), he will do his best damn job to take them down and make an example of them. Some may find this hypocritical, but he believes that because he is guided by divine hand...well, how can he be wrong? The mask he wears is a way of concealing his identity, and a means of psychological warfare... High Elf, Necromancer Wizard: This elf was once an assassin, a hit man that took coin as an independent contract killer, brandishing a knife and non descript clothing. He killed a lot of people, lots of guilty and innocent alike, before one day...after several years of contracts, he finally ran into a wizard. Surprisingly enough the wizard went down pretty easy, seemed as if he had a few too many drinks in an alley, and so he was easy pickings. This wizard wasn't a necromancer himself, but the spellbook the elf found was so fascinating, he just had to study it. He began using these spells to enhance his killing potential, mostly utilizing Disguise Self, Sleep, and Charm Person for most of his crime, making more and more bold moves, higher stakes. He was able to keep up with the risks after all...until one day he came back to his hideout, to find that it was sacked and burned. By who, he doesn't know. All he knows is that he pissed someone off, really bad. They took all of his possessions except for what he had on him, a bit of gold, a knife, and a spellbook. All of the stuff he's bought and collected over the years was either stolen or incinerated...and the perpetrators were still out there. Stopping here for now. Will update on more characters at some point. Unless I've already got your attention, in which case I can further elaborate on the characters I've already listed. Adios for now fellas.
