LoS Arc

I was an early adopter of Roll20 but left shortly after character sheets were released, then came back in time for dynamic lighting and played for about a year; now I'm back in and, oh man, if there isn't a lot to catch up on. Even the forums have changed... I was playing around with the new advanced fog and dynamic lighting tools and wondered if anything, functionality, settings, or trick-wise, has developed for this , where the arc of light is beamed out of the side of the car? (The specific quote is below, but the link is supplied for more context, as this is my exact issue.) I am building a night chase on the highway through familiar streets, so for this particular application it's not something I can live without. Although I do play 5e, for my Call of Cthulhu games it's mostly for atmosphere and reinforcing psychological stresses. Thanks in advance, Konnel . Quote by DXWarlock from "Token orientation origin angle option" [July 16 (4 years ago)]: As it is now, since it was mid game when we noticed it (first dynamic light map of this new campaign) I didn't have time to download/edit/reupload and reassign the tokens for everyone..so we overlooked it as "just pretend its right" and got one or two guys with 'ear light', and their APC truck's headlights was installed on the passenger door for now it seems :P

I don't believe anything has changed with token orientation and LoS.  You still need to right-click the token and flip vertical/horizontal to match LoS.
Sadly, that won't work with the vehicles I have since the token can't be rotated 90° - the light source will always emit from the sides. I'll need to find cars oriented vertically, with the rotation handle in front or behind.
Well, the answer came to me in a hypnagogic state. It was obvious, but I was focused on doing it within the vtt. If anyone else stumbles upon this: I downloaded the tile set, rotated the vehicle token to its long axis in paint dot net, and uploaded it into roll20... and it works. Thank you for the quick reply, Vince.
