[LFP] Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic (Possible One-Shot???!!!)

Bon soir tout le monde!  Hey there, DM Avery here, and the other day I was going over my old manga collection and I fell in love again with my favorite shonen series, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic by Shinobu Ohtaka. It's DBZ meets 1001 Arabian Nights! And so, I haven't run any RPGs in awhile, and I really want to get back in the saddle again. I think I would be interested in running a game set in the Magi world, at least for a one-shot that can maybe lead to something bigger, like a mini-campaign. I'm not trying to sound unprepared here, but I just thought I'd put a post more directly testing the interest of such a game. But here are some of my rough notes: -Would probably get going in July. -Would probably use BESM 3rd edition, or Tri-Stat or whatever. *In full disclosure, this would be my first time running this system, though I am determined to really take my time to make sure I master the system before running the game. -Would most likely be set during or leading up to the incredible Balbadd Arc; in the manga, this is the first 8 volumes, and for the anime, I believe this is the first 13 episodes. *Let me be clear, I am not asking you to re-watch an entire half a season of a dumb animu. At minimum, you should watch the first episode of the show, and ideally, episodes 1-3. Interested? Leave a comment and let me know! Merci beaucoup and have a wonderful rest of your day. :)
What time zone are you in and what times were you looking at playing?  Its been a bit since I watched any of magi but currently making my way through it again from the beginning.

I am in the Pacific Daylight Time Zone (I am located in Northern CA). This game would take place sometime in the mid to late afternoon; let's say, roughly, 6pm. Again, most likely wouldn't happen until early July, as I am having to finish an online course that will last until the whole of June. But If I'm very lucky, then it would be around the end of June instead.
