Hooty-Hoo! I'm back, more or less! Long story short, a tree fell on my house. I've been focused on that rather than anything else, and it took a lot out of me just keeping my IRL games going. That said, my life has been pieced back together with the remnants of my old roof so I'm ready to do online stuff again! I know there was a lot of hype for Strange Journeys, but I'm foregoing it for now. I'm sort of 5e'd out. Instead I've gained a growing interest in Vampire the Masquerade. I usually run more narrative driven games and the system seems to focus a lot on narrative over combat, at least from my experience. Right now I'm just gauging interest. I have a rough idea for a plot in the Pacific Northwest, rough framework for a city, but I still need to do a lot of planning. This would be a mature game. Fade-to-Black for most things, but we won't shy away from risque material. That means I expect any that apply to be able to handle that sort of stuff. I've played a fair amount of WtA in the past, and ran a VtM game before, but I am far from an expert on the system. It will be a learning experience for me to say the least. Take that into consideration. It will be Text-Based, with RP done on Discord and Roll20 used for rolling and information storage. This is not a Play-by-Post game though, we will have weekly sessions. Vampire only. No cross-splat stuff. Feel free to ask anything else that I may have forgotten to include.
