The major difference is that Interface Zero basically does not have the fantasy element that is so prevalent in SR: no magic, no dragons, and no Tolkien races. It does have ties to mythological elements in the past in some areas, but it's pretty much Earth as we know it, rather than Earthdawn. Quote summon!
