[LFP] [Blades in the dark hack] [Scum&Villainy] [GMT] Starting a new Narrative focused campaign - new players welcome.

Hi there, We are looking for 2-3 players to join a narrative focused campaign using the 'Blades in the Dark' hack ' Scum and Villainy' for a base rule set. The planned times for play are Tuesdays roughly 7-8pm (GMT), opened to discussion. The style that we enjoying playing in sees all players being both characters in, and directors of their own TV series. While the GM is the world and plays the NPC characters in the story, all players are free to suggest and describe things happening in the world and to other characters, so long as it does not break the world logic already defined in previous sessions. While rules are important and help maintain the game, for us they are there to facilitate interesting situations and decisions for our characters. This just means making a good narrative game that everyone is enjoying is more important than following any rules written down in a book to the letter. If this sounds like the style of game you enjoy too, get in touch! So the game set in a sci-fi universe, initially focused around the main town on a single planet. Something we have found works well is to start small and allow the game to build to its climaxes naturally. This allows us to enjoy the characters and their stories at each level, growing alongside them. We have created some broad themes of a world where the story starts. What characters we focus on in this world is up to the players, and will be decided on the first session. There are no real limits on characters, we encourage pulling at what ever strings seem interesting to you. The world and the story will be developed collectively in play, week by week. The idea...  The story starts on a small red planet, floating in a quiet galaxy. To young for a noise of the galactic community. A dusty town with storms and lurking sci-fi elements. An old land of rugged people, who have learned they need to help each other to survive, those who prove valuable to the community are taken care of. Ferocious radiation storms reward rugged travellers with mysterious equipment and rare materials. The red dust clouds move as if of their own accord, rendering those unprepared as statues on the horizon. Strange mutations plague the over exposed, but some do learn to adapt and embrace their new forms. It's important to know who to turn too, those who can be useful are know to go missing. Others worship the storm, the great eye of Melora watching over all. Some claim to have Melora's blessing, returning from the storm different men. Rugged science of the desert brings to life our most precious material, 'The blood of the earth'. and it in turn it lights our doors and awakens our beacons. The native beasts of our land provide us with much respite, some carry our burdens while others know when to hide from the storm. Not to be confused with those that hunt under the sands, who can never be tamed.
This hack always interested me but tuesday is the only I don't have available.  Have a good game with the players you do find and cool setting.
Hey Adam, It maybe possible to play another day if you wanted. Have you played much of Blades in the dark?
Yes I've played a few one shots or mini campaigns as different classes but no actual experience with scum and villainy.
