[LFDM] [5E] Starting an Ongoing Weekend Campaign

Hello potential DMs! My group of friends and I have tried to play DnD many times before, but after a couple years we realized all of us prefer to play in the world rather than DM it. We are all somewhat experienced in DnD and enjoy roleplaying, creativity, and cooperation in our campaign. All we are looking for is a consistent weekly or bi-weekly campaign where we can roll some dice and have fun together, so DMs of all experience levels are welcome!  A boon for DM'ing this group is that we all have experience playing together so there's no awkward phase of meshing together or worry that any players will be uncooperative or toxic. We would be happy to run a module of your choosing, or to play in your homebrew campaign. The best days for the group would be on the weekend, sometime on Saturday or Sunday afternoon/early evening. Please, if you're looking to DM a friendly and easygoing group of players, comment below or PM me with the following: Name: Age: Experience with DnD 5e: DM Style (heavy roleplay, combat, puzzles etc.): Module or Campaign Brief (only a few sentences required, but feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like): Expectations for Your PCs:
Name: David Van Horn Age: turned 40 today Experience with DnD 5e: I'm kind of new to 5e but I've played D&D since the 90s. 3.5e is my favorite. I'm still learning the 5e system DM Style (heavy roleplay, combat, puzzles etc.): I see the DM as the story teller and the characters as the actors in his play. You could expect to have heavy roleplay sessions and not have combat in that session at all on the flip side their could be times it's heavy combat, I like puzzles but google has made using them more of a challenge. Module or Campaign Brief (only a few sentences required, but feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like): I have a few ideas for a campaign floating around in my head, pirates and gladiators are two of them. I would like to run Ghost of the Saltmarsh and Out of the Abyss Expectations for Your PCs: I expect players to not be the NPC killing type. If they plan on multiclassing I like to know ahead of time so I can work the new class into the story. I like players that put thought into their backstories and when it's their turn know what they are doing, what their spell does including already found it in the books (just to speed things up so I don't have to be checking to make sure we are doing it right.) I pay attention to the little things like weather and where people are carrying stuff. If you say your character is carrying 30 daggers on their person I want to know where they are. But at the same time I fug things in the players favor such as if your character is using a rapier and I roll up a +1 longsword then I'll fug it to a +1 rapier. Attributes I have players roll 4d6 drop the lowest, roll up 7 stats and drop the lowest total also. I like the players as heroes not commoners with a sword. Players being on time would be awesome but I know 8pm start time really means 8:30-9 start time. Gamer's time is it's own time zone.
